Waukesha Tool & Stamping Acquires Parkview Metal Products, Grows Capabilities, Forms Waukesha Metal Products

Sussex, Wis.—While the challenging economy has caused downsizing and closings for some competitors, Waukesha Metal Products remains a strong and stable metalforming source. And now, the company enjoys strategic growth as it acquires Parkview Metal Products of Lake Zurich, Ill.

With the acquisition, the two companies have formed Waukesha Metal Products to better convey its growing capabilities. The acquisition adds fabrication and robotic welding to the company’s list of capabilities while also expanding on its stamping and automated assembly services. Waukesha Metal Products Products will add 20 employees in its fabrication department and 15 in stamping, hiring at both Wisconsin and Illinois facilities.

“This is an opportunity for us to expand upon capabilities and increase revenue in a down economy,” said Jeff Clark, president of Waukesha Metal Products. “The acquisition also will help us to diversify both our customer base and the markets we serve.”

Clark and Nels Leutwiler, former CEO of Parkview Metal Products, have been longtime business associates. The opportunity was a positive decision for both parties.

“We’re acquiring [Parkview Metal Products] hopefully at the bottom of the economic cycle,” said Clark. “Because of the timing, the upside growth potential is far greater with the acquisition.”

Waukesha Metal Products plans to continue fabrication services as Parkview Metal Products at the current Lake Zurich, Illinois facility until the end of this year.

From humble beginnings as a two man tool and die shop, Waukesha Metal Products has developed into an international full-service metalforming manufacturer, delivering the best-cost parts and assemblies in the industry since 1971.
